This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement in quality performance.This is a high-impact leadership role focused on execution, accountability, and proactive problem-solving. The Quality Manager partners closely with Operations to ensure quality is embedded into processes and not inspected after the fact.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System Execution & ComplianceImplement and maintain all corporate quality standards and proceduresEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements (AAR, FRA, ISO, and customer-specific)Maintain documentation control and revision disciplineConduct internal audits to ensure compliance and readinessAudit & Certification ReadinessMaintain continuous audit readiness across all applicable standardsSupport external audits and ensure timely closure of findingsEnsure all certifications and qualifications remain currentQuality Performance OwnershipOwn and drive plant-level quality KPIs, including:Scrap and reworkCost of Poor QualityFirst Pass YieldCustomer complaints and warrantyAnalyze trends, identify risks, and lead improvement actionsReport performance to plant leadership and executive teamsRoot Cause & Corrective ActionLead structured root cause investigationsEnsure rapid containment and permanent corrective actionsDrive accountability and prevent recurrence of defectsCustomer Quality InterfaceServe as the primary point of contact for customer quality issuesLead investigations and ensure timely, professional communicationMonitor performance metrics such as PPM and warranty trendsOperational PartnershipCollaborate with Plant Leadership and Operations teamsParticipate in production and planning meetingsEnsure quality standards are embedded in processes and new product launchesContinuous ImprovementIdentify systemic issues and recurring defectsLead initiatives to reduce scrap and improve process capabilitySupport error-proofing, automation, and standardization effortsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead and develop Quality team membersEstablish clear expectations, accountability, and training standardsFoster a culture of discipline, ownership, and continuous improvementQualifications & Experience5-10 years of experience in manufacturing quality leadershipExperience in regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of quality systems, audits, and complianceExperience with AAR standards preferredProven track record in root cause analysis and corrective actionDemonstrated leadership and team development experienceBenefitsHealth Coverage: The company covers 80% of medical, dental, and vision premiums, ensuring comprehensive healthcare for you and your family.Retirement Savings: Enjoy immediate full vesting in our 401(k) plan, with a generous company match to support your financial future.Life Insurance: Receive company-paid life insurance for peace of mind and security.Paid Time Off: 11 paid holidays, plus paid vacation, and sick time available in your first year.Work-Life Balance: Supportive benefits designed to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
