This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet strict specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances in a fast-paced production environment. This position offers opportunities to work with advanced machining technology and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines including lathes, mills, and multi-axis equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawingsProduce precision parts that meet quality and tolerance requirementsPerform routine inspections using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gaugesMonitor machine performance and identify tooling or equipment issuesMaintain accurate production and inspection documentationPerform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustmentsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow company safety policies and quality standardsCommunicate production issues and updates with supervisors and team membersSupport continuous improvement and efficiency initiativesAssist in training new operators when neededRequired Qualifications2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe, mill, or multi-axis)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring instrumentsStrong attention to detail and quality standardsBasic mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentHigh School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications4+ years of CNC machining or setup experienceCNC programming experience (G-code or conversational programming)Experience with multi-axis or mill-turn machinesExperience working with tight tolerances (precision or aerospace components)Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practicesExperience working with metals, alloys, or plasticsCNC certification or technical trainingEquipment / Technologies (May Vary by Site)CNC Lathes and MillsMulti-Axis or Mill-Turn MachinesFanuc ControlsMazatrol ProgrammingMori Seiki / Mazak / Hwacheon MachinesPrecision Measurement ToolsProduction and Quality Documentation SystemsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift materials up to 40-50 lbsManual dexterity to operate machinery and toolsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and temperature variationUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE)Work EnvironmentManufacturing or machine shop environmentTeam-based production settingFast-paced operations with production deadlinesOvertime may be required based on production needs
