This role sits at the intersection of product design and field application engineering, working closely with customers to translate requirements into high-performance power connector solutions.This is an opportunity to play a critical role in next-generation applications across electric vehicles and data center infrastructure.The MandateOwn front-end design and technical engagement for power connector productsBridge product development and customer application needs through hands-on engineering supportDrive design optimization through simulation, analysis, and real-world feedbackAct as a key technical partner to both internal teams and external customersKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and refine power connector solutions using 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorksPerform CAE and FEA simulations to evaluate and optimize electrical, thermal, and mechanical performanceServe as the primary technical interface for customers, supporting solution development and requirement alignmentPartner with sales and field engineering teams to provide technical guidance and application supportParticipate in design reviews to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standardsContribute to tolerance analysis using GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and performanceIdeal ProfileBackground as a Connector Design Engineer, Field Application Engineer, or Systems Engineer within a connector manufacturer or relevant end-marketProven experience working across both product design and customer-facing environmentsTrack record of contributing to or leading power connector programs from concept through customer adoptionHands-on experience with high-current or high-voltage connector design, including thermal management challengesFamiliarity with EV or data center applications is strongly preferredProficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD toolsExperience with CAE and FEA simulation methodsStrong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysisFluent in Chinese with professional English proficiency for technical communicationLocation & Work ModelLocation flexible depending on business needsOn-site or hybrid expectations aligned with customer engagement requirementsDomestic and International Travel is RequiredCompensation$80,000 to $110,000 base salary + BonusCompensation is benchmarked internally and remains flexible based on experience and qualifications
