This position will be in Zebulon , NC. We are flexible with providing travel accommodations for candidates who need it.What you'll do:As an MIGSO-PCUBED Project Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in driving robust risk management practices across complex capital projects. You will support project teams and leadership by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and regulatory requirements.Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will act as a trusted advisor, enabling informed decision-making and strengthening project delivery through proactive risk management.As an MP Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:Work across diverse industries including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and infrastructureSupport large-scale, complex capital projects throughout the full project lifecyclePartner with project teams and leadership to drive risk-informed decision makingContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Project Controls and Risk Management frameworksDevelop strong client relationships while expanding MP's footprint across engagementsYour responsibilities will include:Project Risk Management & DeliveryLead and support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across project lifecyclesFacilitate risk workshops and engage stakeholders to proactively identify project risks (technical, commercial, operational, and external)Develop and maintain risk registers using tools such as 12C and other risk management systemsConduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulationsSupport the development and implementation of risk response and contingency plansContinuously monitor, update, and report on project risks, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholdersProject Controls & Lifecycle AccountabilityEnsure effective Project Controls setup and assurance across all project phases (concept through handover)Support Project Management Framework (PMF) requirements including health checks, peer reviews, and independent project reviewsDrive "management by exception" analysis to support performance monitoring and course correctionContribute to Supply Chain Review Board (SCRB) reporting and governance requirementsStakeholder Engagement & CommunicationBuild strong relationships with project teams, risk owners, contractors, and senior stakeholdersPresent risk insights, reports, and recommendations clearly and effectivelyAct as a point of contact for all risk-related matters across projectsFacilitate communication between technical teams, leadership, and external partnersStrategic Risk & Continuous ImprovementSupport and drive enterprise-level risk management strategies and initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve risk management processes, tools, and methodologiesPromote a risk-aware culture across project teams and organizationsCapture lessons learned and implement best practices across future projectsCompliance & GovernanceEnsure adherence to regulatory and industry standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Align risk management practices with quality systems and compliance requirementsStay informed on evolving regulations and industry standards impacting project risksWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred)8-15+ years of experience in Project Controls, Risk Management, or Capital Project DeliveryStrong expertise in Project Risk Management fundamentals and methodologiesExperience with quantitative risk analysis toolsDeep understanding of project scheduling, cost management, and project execution planningProven experience working across full project lifecycles in complex environmentsStrong knowledge of Monte Carlo analysis and 3-point estimation techniquesFamiliarity with Project Management Frameworks (PMF) and capital project governanceExperience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or manufacturing) preferredKey Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence decision-making and provide strategic recommendationsHigh level of accountability and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAdaptability in fast-paced and evolving project environmentsLeadership and mentoring capabilitiesBenefits and PerksMP offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
