Building Automation Systems Project Engineer

Edison Smart are partnered with a growing company in Atlanta, GA who are looking to hire a BAS Project Engineer.This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in building automation systems (BAS) and a preference for candidates who have worked on data center projects. You will play a key role in delivering high-performance, energy-efficient solutions across complex facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, engineer, and support building automation and control systems (BAS/BMS)Manage projects from concept through commissioning and handoverDevelop control system architectures, sequences of operation, and system graphicsCoordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project successPerform system integration, testing, and troubleshootingSupport commissioning activities and ensure systems meet performance requirementsMaintain project documentation, schedules, and budgetsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in building automation or controls engineeringProficiency with BAS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, or similar)Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls theory, and system integrationExperience with programming, graphics development, and control logicExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperience delivering BAS/BMS solutions in data center environmentsFamiliarity with mission-critical infrastructure (cooling systems, redundancy, uptime requiremen
