Marketing AnalystW2 Contract 3-6+ MonthsOnsite, Tustin, CA$36-44/hr + BenefitsWe're looking for a data-driven Marketing Analyst to help us better understand and optimize our marketing performance across digital channels. In this role, you'll turn complex data into clear insights that directly influence how we acquire, engage, and retain customers.You'll partner closely with teams across marketing, product, sales, and finance to improve campaign effectiveness, guide investment decisions, and support overall business growth. This is a highly visible role where your insights will help shape strategy at both the campaign and executive level.What You'll DoOwn Marketing Performance InsightsAnalyze performance across key digital channels including paid media (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok), DTC (Shopify), email, affiliate, and influencer marketingIdentify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization across the customer journeyBuild Dashboards & ReportingDevelop and maintain dashboards using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Looker StudioDeliver clear, actionable reporting on key metrics such as ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, and customer retentionTranslate data into insights that non-technical stakeholders can easily understandManage & Optimize Data InfrastructureConsolidate data from multiple sources using SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake)Ensure data accuracy through regular audits, validation, and cleanupPartner with teams to improve tracking, attribution, and data qualityDrive Strategy & Decision-MakingProvide recommendations to improve campaign performance, customer engagement, and budget allocationSupport and analyze A/B tests to identify the most effective marketing strategiesUse data to forecast trends and inform future growth initiativesCollaborate Cross-FunctionallyWork closely with marketing channel owners, leadership, and other stakeholdersHelp teams interpret performance data and make informed decisionsSupport implementation of new tools, integrations, and automation workflowsWhat Success Looks LikeClear, reliable reporting that stakeholders trust and use regularlyActionable insights that improve marketing performance and ROIStrong collaboration across teams to drive data-informed decisionsContinuous improvement of data systems, dashboards, and processesWhat We're Looking ForCore Qualifications5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or similar rolesStrong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets (BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar)Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Looker Studio)Solid understanding of digital marketing metrics and performance analysis (ROAS, CAC, attribution, etc.)Hands-on experience with web analytics tools (GA4 or similar)Preferred ExperienceExperience in eCommerce or DTC environments (Shopify preferred)Familiarity with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and marketing tools (Klaviyo, GTM, etc.)Exposure to multi-touch attribution and advanced analyticsExperience supporting A/B testing and experimentation frameworksNice to HaveProficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics or automationExperience at a high-growth DTC or consumer brandAnalytics certifications or advanced trainingWhat You BringStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to translate data into clear, actionable insightsProactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on resultsComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentStrong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
