Position SummaryAs a Service Technician, you will be the frontline expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our advanced dry ice blasting systems. The Service Technician will use diagnostic tools, data insights, and hands-on technical expertise to maximize equipment performance and uptime for our customers.Cold Jet values practical, hands-on experience over traditional four-year degrees. We encourage candidates with military, HVAC, automotive, or industrial maintenance backgrounds who are looking to grow in a stable, advanced technical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Service & Equipment SupportPerform in-shop diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipmentTroubleshoot integrated control systems and complex mechanical assembliesAssist with equipment installations, including integration into automated or robotic systemsUse remote diagnostics and connected tools to support troubleshooting and maintenanceService OperationsManage parts inventory to ensure timely and efficient repairsMaintain accurate service records and documentationSupport shop operations and coordinate with vendors as neededCustomer Support & TrainingProvide technical guidance and training to customers on equipment operation and efficiencyServe as a technical resource and build strong customer relationshipsCommunicate equipment performance feedback to Engineering and Product teamsTravel 10-30% within the Americas to support installations and key service needsQualifications & ExperienceMilitary technical training OR vocational/technical education in HVAC, automotive, industrial maintenance, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in industrial service, mechanical repair, or similar environmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsExperience using diagnostic tools such as voltmetersPreferred Experience:Experience with PLCs or electrical control systemsFamiliarity with connected equipment, sensors, or diagnostic softwareExperience using CRM or ERP systemsBasic machining or fabrication experience
