We are seeking motivated and experienced Group Leaders for current and future manufacturing openings at our Lockport, NY facility. This is a full-time, onsite leadership role responsible for guiding teams across Production, Quality, or Global Supply Chain functions to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.In this role, you will lead daily manufacturing activities, adjust operational plans as needed, and drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, responsiveness, cost, and employee engagement (SPQRCE). You will play a key role in fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, adapting to changing prioritiesDrive performance in safety, quality, productivity, and costSupervise, coach, and develop team members while managing performance and resolving conflictsOversee production processes, quality inspections, and problem-solving initiativesChampion built-in quality practices and continuous improvement effortsNavigate change and ambiguity in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Work in a loud, industrial, non-climate-controlled environmentStand and walk for extended periods throughout shiftsLift up to 40 lbs periodicallyPerform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and operating equipmentUse required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesWork rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including frequent weekends as neededRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of managerial or supervisory experienceDemonstrated ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and make sound decisionsStrong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsBasic computer proficiency (email, Microsoft Word, and general typing skills)Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekendsMilitary experience is a plusPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies (CIP, TIP)Background in automotive or manufacturing environmentsExperience supervising within a union environmentKnowledge of Supply Chain or Quality operationsFamiliarity with Built-In Quality principles and DFSS/Red X methodologiesExperience with timekeeping systems.
