Director of Culinary

Chrane Foodservice Solutions is seeking a Director of Culinary to support our growing sales organization and strengthen relationships with key foodservice operators. This role combines culinary expertise, equipment demonstrations, and customer engagement to help operators evaluate and implement commercial kitchen solutions.If you enjoy working with chefs and operators, demonstrating innovative equipment, and collaborating with a sales team to solve operational challenges, this role offers a unique opportunity to apply culinary experience in a dynamic and relationship focused environment.What You Will DoLead culinary equipment demonstrations and proof of concept testing for foodservice operatorsConduct pre-sale and post-sale equipment demonstrations and onsite staff trainingPartner with Sales teams to evaluate operations and identify equipment solutions that improve kitchen performanceMaintain demonstration kitchen and equipment in a professional, show ready conditionPlan and execute culinary events for customers, manufacturers, and internal teamsCollaborate with Marketing to showcase equipment applications through culinary content and demonstrationsParticipate in manufacturer training to develop deep product knowledgeRepresent Chrane and our manufacturer partners at industry events and trade showsWhat We Are Looking ForCulinary degree preferred or at least 7 years of professional culinary experienceExperience in high volume environments such as hotels, banquets, or large foodservice operationsStrong presentation skills and the ability to engage customers during demonstrationsWorking knowledge of kitchen design, workflow, and operational assessmentsAbility to translate culinary and operational needs into practical equipment solutionsEstablished relationships within the Houston culinary community preferredServSafe Manager certification preferredWhat Success Looks LikeYou become a trusted resource for operators and sales teams by demonstrating equipment capabilities, identifying operational improvements, and supporting customers with practical culinary expertise.TravelApproximately 10 to 15% travel for customer visits, industry events, and manufacturer training.Why Join ChraneChrane Foodservice Solutions represents leading manufacturers in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry.
