Quality Assurance Manager

Job SummaryOur JBS Warehouse Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all warehouse operations. This role develops and implements quality control processes, monitors performance metrics, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products are stored, handled, and shipped according to company and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain warehouse quality assurance standards and proceduresMonitor inbound and outbound processes to ensure accuracy, product integrity, and complianceConduct regular audits of inventory, storage conditions, and handling practicesInvestigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Collaborate with operations to improve overall quality performanceTrack and report key quality metrics (e.g., error rates, damages)Train and mentor warehouse staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practicesManage documentation related to quality control, inspections, and auditsLead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean or Six SigmaQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a quality management roleStrong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and process improvement methodologiesExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processesFamiliarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards, GMP if applicable)Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesEffective leadership and team management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis toolsWorking ConditionsPrimarily based in a warehouse environmentMay require standing, walking, and lifting to 50 lbs.Occasional extended hours or weekend work depending on operational needsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Damage rateAudit compliance scoresWhat JBS Offers: • Competitive salary and benefits packageCompensation Range $75K - $80KMedical, dental and vision 401(k) match of 4%. 6 Paid Holidays and 3 Personal holidays PTO package • Opportunities for career growth within a fast growing and innovative team • A supportive work environment focused on teamwork and resultsIMPORTANT: All positions require either standing or sitting for 8 hours per day, the ability to lift 15 pounds unassisted and interact and communicate with other employees, vendors, or customers.
