Our success is built on passion, collaboration, and technical excellence, and we're looking for professionals who want to make a tangible impact in complex, project-driven environments.ANDRITZ is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to support large-scale industrial projects within our Pulp & Paper divisionThis position primarily supports capital projects within Fiberline and ECA (Evaporation, Concentration & Analysis) systems, including downstream pulp processing, recovery-related, and auxiliary process equipment. The role may also support other process-industry businesses as needed.This role is ideal for a procurement professional, or a project or sales professional ready to transition into procurement, who enjoys ownership, supplier engagement, and working cross-functionally in technically complex projects.What You'll DoAs a Project Procurement Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for procurement activities on assigned projects, from planning through execution.Project & Procurement OwnershipOwn the full procurement lifecycle for assigned industrial projectsDevelop and execute the Project Procurement Plan in collaboration with Project Management, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and LogisticsEnsure procurement activities align with project schedules, budgets, and technical requirementsSourcing, Negotiation & Supplier ManagementLead RFPs (Requests for Proposal) for all required equipment, materials, and servicesSource suppliers, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and proactively identify alternative sources of supplyPrepare vendor evaluation summaries and make supplier recommendationsLead commercial contract and purchase order negotiations with support from Legal when requiredManage supplier contracts post-award in coordination with the project teamExecution & Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Buyers to issue purchase orders and manage revisionsTrack supplier schedules, especially for long-lead and critical equipmentCoordinate with Logistics on domestic and international shipments to site or customerSupport invoice reconciliation in collaboration with Accounts PayableNegotiate and resolve supplier claims when requiredContinuous Improvement & StrategyEnsure compliance with procurement policies and approval guidelinesContribute to supplier category strategies alongside leadership and business stakeholdersUtilize procurement systems, tools, and reporting to support visibility and decision-makingProvide reporting and updates to project teams and senior managementWhat We're Looking ForExperience & Skills5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally supporting project-based industrial environmentsExperience in Pulp & Paper or other process industries preferredExperience supporting Fiberline, ECA, recovery, evaporation, or other downstream pulp process systems is preferredStrong understanding of commercial contracts, terms & conditionsWorking knowledge of metal products (plate, pipe, tube), fabricated materials, and machined componentsStrong negotiation, organization, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a project-driven environmentProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelWillingness to travel 15-25% domestically and internationallyCareer Backgrounds That Fit WellProject Procurement / Strategic SourcingSupply Chain or Purchasing in industrial projectsProject Managers or Sales Managers within industrial/process industries who want to transition into procurementEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related), Supply Chain, Business Administration, or ManagementMaster's degree preferred but not requiredWhy ANDRITZGlobal engineering leader with a long-term, customer-focused mindsetOpportunity to support large, complex industrial projects with real impactCollaborative culture grounded in accountability, ethics, and technical excellenceCareer growth across projects, businesses, and global operationsANDRITZ is an AA/EEO/Veterans/ADA Friendly Employer.
