Environmental and Property Condition Due Diligence Entry Level Independent Contractor | Remote, must be located within the Atlanta, GA(preferred 50 miles or 1-hour commute)CEG Assessments is seeking motivated, self-directed professionals to join our Independent Contractor Due Diligence Program - Launchpad! This opportunity is designed for individuals who want flexibility, autonomy, and control over their workload and earning potential - not a traditional 9-to-5 job. As an independent contractor, you choose which projects to accept, how much you work, and how quickly you grow, based on your availability, performance, and initiative.This is a project-based, paid-per-project role, ideal for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who want to build real, in-demand skills in environmental and property condition due diligence consulting related to commercial real estate. If you thrive in structured independence, enjoy managing your own time, and are motivated by opportunity rather than guaranteed hours, this program offers a clear path to increasing responsibility and income. This role is not intended for candidates seeking the predictability or security of a full-time salaried position.This is a project-based, flexible role supporting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), and related field services.No prior due diligence experience is required - training is provided.WHAT YOU'LL DO (WITH TRAINING)Complete on-site inspections of commercial and industrial properties to identify environmental concerns and property deficienciesCollect field notes, photographs, and inspection dataSupport Phase I ESA and PCA site observations under ASTM standardsSupport technical report development through accurate documentationDAY IN THE LIFETravel to assigned properties to complete inspections, observations, and documentationWalk through buildings and sites, photograph conditions, and follow inspection checklistsUpload and organize field notes and photos from your home officeTake on more complex sites and higher-paying work as experience growsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Construction Management, or related fieldStrong communication skills and attention to detailComfortable working independentlyWillingness to travel nationwide (up to ~75% during peak periods)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStand or walk (for most of an 8-hour workday and up to 3 to 4 continuous hours at one time)Climb stepsClimb ladders onto flat roofsStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to read equipment data platesOccasionally lift and/or move up to 40 poundsCONTRACT DETAILS1099 Independent ContractorPaid per project (not hourly)Work volume varies based on market demand and availabilityWHY JOINPaid, real-world experience (not classroom-only training)Flexible independent contractor scheduleClear pathway to higher responsibility and earningsNationwide project exposure
