Warehouse And Distribution Manager

Operations leader responsible for overseeing warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Drives labor planning, inventory control, and continuous improvement while leading and developing frontline teams. This role is a Weekend Shift, Three 12 hour shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Responsibilities:Lead and support all safety programs to maintain a safe work environmentPlan and adjust labor needs based on daily, weekly, and monthly forecastsManage daily operations to ensure balanced staffing, efficiency, and on-time executionDrive continuous improvement initiatives and eliminate non-value-added activitiesTrain, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce to meet performance expectationsOversee receiving, inventory management, packaging, and shipping to meet quality and delivery standardsEnsure operations meet quality, budget, and delivery objectivesManage inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and accountabilityMaintain clear communication with team to align on goals and prioritiesEstablish and improve operational processes, policies, and proceduresTrack performance metrics and prepare reports on operational effectivenessCollaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve processesManage product traceability systems using WMS/OracleEnsure facility cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety standardsRequirements:10+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations3+ years of supervisory or leadership experienceProven experience implementing inventory control systems and continuous improvement programsStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution processesExperience with WMS systems and inventory tracking toolsFamiliarity with OSHA regulations in warehouse/shipping environmentsStrong Microsoft Office skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesCustomer-focused mindset with ability to build relationshipsHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to operate in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience with Oracle or similar supply chain/logistics systemsAdditional experience with Warehouse Management Systems
