Director of Project Management - Integrated Solutions?? Greater Akron, OHA growing, multi-site manufacturer and systems integrator serving industrial infrastructure and energy markets is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead, stabilize, and scale its project execution function.This is not a traditional PM leadership role. Job DescriptionThis role owns end-to-end project execution across a portfolio of complex, multi-component systems. You will lead the transformation of a fragmented PM structure into a centralized, scalable, and high-performing function across multiple operating locations.Key responsibilities include:Lead and develop the Project Management organization, including team structure, hiring, and performance managementOwn project delivery from handoff through execution, delivery, and closeoutDrive improvements in schedule adherence, cost control, forecasting, and risk managementBuild and standardize project management processes, tools, and reporting across locationsSupport the rollout and optimization of ERP-driven project and procurement workflowsOversee procurement coordination tied to projects, including vendor management and long-lead trackingStrengthen supplier relationships to improve cost, quality, and delivery performancePartner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, and procurement to ensure alignmentDevelop repeatable execution models to support scalability and growth?? This role sits at the intersection of project management, operations, and supply chain, with direct impact on execution performance and profitability.?? Requirements7-10+ years of project management leadership experience in an industrial or project-based environmentProven experience building PM teams, systems, and processes within a growing or evolving organizationStrong background in project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk mitigationExperience working cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and supply chainWorking knowledge of procurement, purchasing, and vendor managementExperience managing projects across multiple sitesStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred:Background in power conversion, electrical infrastructure, precast, modular, or prefabricated systemsExperience with ERP implementation or business process transformationPMP or similar certification
