Commercial Banking- Project Manager4-6 Month Contract- Possible ExtensionHybrid (3-4x a week onsite)- Columbus or ClevelandWork Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5pmStart Date: Mid May Overview:The Program Manager provides leadership and has overall responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology and business unit programs and projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of programs.Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget and that IT governance is followed.Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.Works with business segment manager(s) and program/project sponsors to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree7+ years of related experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience in Banking or Financial ServicesExperience utilizing a variety portfolio project management tool and creating and tracking project schedules in MS Excel or MS ProjectStrong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum) and project management processes and standardsStrong aptitude in both business and technologyExcellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain project risks and issues, and IT related concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadershipHigh motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize themAbility to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and changeWillingness and drive to learn and understand detailed software solutionsHigh level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationshipsAbility to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by corporate needs, market or regulatory requirementsExperience leading large, cross-functional information technology programs and projectsABOUT EIGHT ELEVEN DBA CALCULATED HIRE:At Eight Eleven, our business is people.
