Socionext Inc. is headquartered in Yokohama with offices in Japan, Asia, United States and Europe to lead its product development and sales activities.We are seeking an ASIC Program Manager to work on our Datacenter projects, based in Santa Clara, CA. The Datacenter team is a leader in developing high-performance custom silicon products with a focus on compute server, storage systems, network switch and router applications.The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manage ASIC projects from pre-sales, through design award to tape-out and productionProvide program management support to existing and new ASIC customersPrepare and manage project schedules, prepare and present periodic program reviews as well as managing weekly program status meetingsCoordinate and manage customer interactions and schedule with internal Design Center teams and 3rd party contractorsCollaborate with other senior managers and leaders to establish strategic business and marketing plans and objectivesSupport Sales and Marketing Manager to win ASIC programs and meet design win targetsProvide consistent direction and leadershipMust be a strategic and out-of-the box thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, and strong customer relationship building abilitiesAssure compliance with US Import/Export ITAR regulationsQualifications:7+ years directly related semiconductor ASIC/Foundry industry experience.5 + years' experience supporting ASIC customer's technical issues.5 + years' experience in program and project management.Must have a understanding of the entire ASIC Flow.Hands-on ASIC design, ASIC program management and leadership experienceExperience with post tape-out customer support and operations from GDSII to Mass ProductionExperience with high-speed serial interface technologies such as Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express Gen2/3, memory interfaces, ADC, DAC and ARM subsystemsGood understanding of fab processes, package technologies, IOs, IP, test etc.Excellent communication skills and customer relationship managementFamiliar with technical aspects of IP design and development hard and soft IPBSEE and MSEE degreeTotal Compensation Disclosure: $190,000 - $220,000 Base SalaryBase Pay + Bonus(es)Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching.Equal Opportunity Employer:Socionext America is an equal opportunity employer.
