Strategic Sourcing Manager

Sourcing the spark behind every innovation!As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Dekko you are responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials at the best possible prices. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.Location: Dekko HQ, Fort Wayne INWhat you'll do:Develop Sourcing StrategiesCreate and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement needs.Supplier ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.NegotiationNegotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.Cost ManagementMonitor and manage the budget for procurement activities, striving for cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.Market AnalysisConduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and availability of materials.Risk ManagementIdentify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.Performance MonitoringTrack and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing activities.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure alignment on sourcing needs and strategies.About you:Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Bonus if you have experience in: Castings, Extrusions, Wire, Plastics, Circuit Boards, LED's or Electrical Distribution.What We'll Give You:A competitive compensation package.
