Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Instructional Coach position lat Parkside Middle School located in San Bruno, CA. A highly diverse student body of 600 students makes up this traditional middle school . Parkside has many wonderful attributes including extensive elective offerings, newcomer and ELD programming, a Media and Arts Pathway, two Deans of Students, Student Led Conferences and much more.The Instructional Coach will collaborate with teachers and staff to provide professional development, mentorship, and support for curriculum development, instructional strategies, and staff growth. Responsibilities include assisting educators in implementing effective teaching practices, analyzing student data to inform instruction, and promoting innovative educational resources and techniques. The role supports a culture of continuous professional learning and student achievement. The instructional coach works closely with the Principal as a thought partners and collaborator in working to improve educational outcomes for all students.QualificationsProficiency in Curriculum Development and Education strategiesExperience in Coaching and Staff DevelopmentStrong background in Educational LeadershipAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster a positive educational environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of emerging educational technologies and instructional best practicesMaster's degree in Education or related field preferredValid teaching credential and experience in K-8 education
