Insight Global is looking for an Advisory Title Officer to support a leading national title insurance underwriter. This role is ideal for an experienced Title Officer or Underwriter with strong residential expertise who enjoys being client-facing and playing an advisory role in underwriting decisions.The Advisory Title Officer will act as a subject-matter expert, guiding internal teams and external clients through underwriting questions, title risk assessment, and resolution of title issues. The role will primarily support residential properties, which account for the majority of the team's revenue, with exposure to commercial transactions as a secondary focus. This position offers long-term growth potential, including a clear path into senior or managerial roles.Key responsibilities include:Assisting in underwriting decision-making for residential title filesReviewing title searches, commitments, and related documentation to identify riskProviding guidance on title defects such as liens, easements, encroachments, and vesting issuesActing as a trusted advisor to Real Estate Agents, Lenders, Escrow Officers, attorneys, and internal teamsCommunicating underwriting decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesSupporting Escrow Officers and internal teams with escalated or complex title mattersEnsuring underwriting guidance aligns with company standards, risk tolerance, and regulatory requirementsParticipating in client calls, meetings, and on-site collaboration as neededContributing to knowledge sharing, best practices, and process improvements across the teamPosition supports future growth into senior advisory or management rolesRequired Skills and Experiences5+ years of experience as a Title Officer, Senior Title Examiner, or Underwriter within the title insurance industryStrong residential title underwriting experienceProven client-facing experience, regularly interacting with real estate agents, lenders, escrow teams, and transaction partnersSolid understanding of title insurance principles, underwriting guidelines, and risk evaluationAbility to explain underwriting decisions and title issues clearly and confidentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be local to the Bay Area, CaliforniaWilling and able to work onsite at a local office a minimum of 2 days per week
