This role is critical in aligning production schedules with customer demand, material availability, and plant capacity to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.The Master Scheduler will serve as a key link between the plant, warehouse and customer requirements driving execution and continuous improvement within a fast-paced automotive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer releases, forecasts, and plant capacityCoordinate daily and weekly production plans across hot stamping, laser, weld, and downstream operationsAnalyze demand variability, capacity constraints, and material availability to proactively adjust schedulesCollaborate with materials, production, maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow and minimal disruptionMonitor and report on key metrics such as:Schedule attainmentOn-time delivery (OTD)Inventory levels and turnsLead production scheduling meetings and communicate changes effectively across departmentsWork within ERP/MES systems (experience with Plex Systems preferred) to manage scheduling, inventory, and reportingIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and plant performanceSupport launch activities, engineering changes, and customer demand fluctuationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of scheduling/planning experience in automotive manufacturingExperience in hot stamping, metal forming, or high-volume production environments strongly preferredStrong understanding of: Capacity planning, Production flow and constraints, Inventory management principlesAdvanced skills in Excel and ERP systems (Plex experience a plus)Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentGNS North America is an equal opportunity employer.
