Our client is seeking a HR Director to lead the people function within their growing organization in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a role responsible for building the HR infrastructure, driving organizational effectiveness, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters.What You Will Do:Own the full people strategy "” from talent acquisition and workforce planning to employee relations, retention, and organizational development "” ensuring the HR function operates as a true business partner at every stage of growth.Lead HR operations with a data-driven approach, overseeing HRIS integrity, HR reporting, and people analytics to inform leadership decisions and drive continuous improvement across the organization.Partner closely with Finance and executive leadership to oversee compensation strategy, payroll oversight, and total rewards philosophy "” ensuring the organization remains competitive and equitable.Design, administer, and continuously optimize employee benefits programs, including open enrollment strategy, vendor management, and employee education "” balancing cost, competitiveness, and employee experience.Serve as the organization's HR compliance authority, proactively monitoring changes in federal, state, and local employment law and building the policies, practices, and training necessary to keep the organization ahead of risk as it scales.Act as a strategic advisor and culture steward for the organization "” coaching leaders, navigating complex employee relations matters, and modeling the values and behaviors that shape a high-performing, people-first workplace.Architect and implement scalable HR processes, systems, and infrastructure that support the organization's next phase of growth "” bringing structure where needed while preserving agility and a human touch.What You Need:5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership or people management capacity.Demonstrated ability to function as a strategic HR business partner to senior and executive leadership, not just an HR operator.Deep expertise across core HR disciplines "” talent acquisition, total rewards, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and HR operations.Experience building or scaling an HR function within a growing, multi-location, or complex organization.Strong command of HRIS platforms and the ability to leverage people data to drive decisions and demonstrate HR's impact on business outcomes.Exceptional judgment, discretion, and executive presence "” able to navigate ambiguity and build trust at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire an HR team while also rolling up your sleeves when the work demands it.Preferred Skills:Experience in service-based environments.Track record of driving organizational change, culture initiatives, or employer brand development.PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.Experience partnering with private equity-backed or high-growth organizations navigating rapid scale.Exposure to compensation benchmarking, job architecture, or total rewards design.
