Their cross section of customers, aerospace, automotive and consumer goods have benefited with innovative technologies to assist in maximizing productivity.With a multitude of patented welding products including Medium Frequency DC welding controls, networking, data collection and predictive maintenance tools, our client has reached global regions and has attracted many new customersResponsibilities• Build and strengthen relationships with customer contacts across purchasing, engineering, and related functions to support ongoing business development.• Pursue new sales opportunities by identifying prospective programs, expanding existing accounts, and contributing to long-range growth plans.• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer concerns, helping resolve issues efficiently while representing customer needs internally.• Prepare and manage quotations, track RFQs, and follow through on open commercial opportunities in a timely and thorough manner.• Oversee customer portal activity, including updates tied to change notices, tooling information, and other account-related data.• Work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to align commercial activity with current production needs and future program opportunities.• Participate in program reviews, customer meetings, and site visits, while delivering presentations that clearly communicate business status and proposals.• Support pricing discussions, APQP-related coordination, invoicing concerns, and aged receivable follow-up to maintain healthy account performance.• Facilitate communication among customers, sales leadership, and internal coordinators to ensure priorities, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned.• Travel as needed within the United States and internationally to support customer engagement and business objectives.Qualifications• Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, or customer-facing business development work.• Minimum of 2 years of experience with resistance welding tech in a manufacturing space.• Associate or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience.• Strong mechanical aptitude with practical knowledge of electrical systems, welding processes, and metal fabrication environments.• Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively, manage competing priorities, and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting.• Clear and detail-oriented communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to customers and internal teams.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Ability to work independently while also collaborating productively with cross-functional teams.• Automotive industry experience is preferred.
