Law firms are hiring!A global and growing law firm is currently seeking an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to join their Redwood City office. The Assistant will provide right hand high level executive support to Partners and Associates within the following practice groups - Corporate Finance or Commercial Litigation.Candidates MUST have law firm experience supporting Partner level attorneys.Responsibilities include:Manages emails in Outlook Manages Outlook calendar on behalf of attorneysCreates and maintains client contacts in OutlookPrepares, formats, types and distributes correspondence and other documentsManages projects and coordinates distribution with the ability to use firm resources to delegate tasks in the successful completion of such projects; interacts with other departments and facets of the office, when appropriate, to coordinate larger scale projectsSchedules and coordinates meetings and/or conferences, interacts with facilities and catering to manage all details for meetingsCoordinates conflict checks and new matter memo processCoordinates travel arrangements (domestic and international) and prepares expense reportsCompletes time entry on behalf of attorneysOrganizes and maintains legal correspondence and document filesManages review and distribution of draft and final client bills which includes communication with attorneys and accounting representativesMarketing and business development support.Heavy client contact for coordination and to assist with the management of client relationships.Assist with business development initiatives.Participation in projects as requestedQualifications/Skills:A minimum of 5 years experience working in a law firmThe ideal candidate for this position will be someone with experience as a legal executive/administrative assistant within a global or large national law firmStrong computer and administrative skills to proactively manage duties and responsibilities in an organized, efficient mannerProficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting prioritiesMust be a self-starter with a high level of initiativeAbility to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgmentStrong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projectsMaintains confidentiality and exercises discretionBenefits include: 4 weeks vacation, bonus, full medical, dental & vision, 401K, etc.
