Core ResponsibilitiesDriver Management: Assign loads, plan efficient routes, and monitor driver hours of service (HOS) to ensure DOT compliance.Customer Service: Act as the primary contact for clients, providing shipment updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues.Logistics Coordination: Track shipments, handle delays, traffic, or breakdowns by adjusting schedules in real-time.Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of driver logs, delivery locations, and freight information in the Transportation Management System (TMS).Relationship Building: Develop strong working relationships with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations and high service levels.
