This role provides hands-on HR support in employee onboarding, HR systems, recruiting and general support of the full employee lifecycle administration. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service, sound judgment & strong collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms clerical & customer service functions for the HR & Recruiting department.Assists HR Generalists with new hire onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, I-9s completion,Processes new hire background checks & drug screensCreating & maintain employee filesPulls multiple HR reports on regular cadenceMaintains & updates EEO data spreadsheetsPerforms verifications of employmentProcess terminations & conducts exit interviewsHelp maintain HR policy and employee handbook updatesTrack candidates and hiring activity in ATSAssists with recruitment by scheduling interviews & drafting offer lettersPerforms other related duties as assigned.The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office SuiteWorking understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures is a plus.Familiarity with construction and/or union workforce is a plusEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.At least two-years related HR or Admin experience required.SHRM-CP credential is a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision insuranceRetirement 401(k) w/ Employer MatchLife insurancePaid time offEmployee Assistance ProgramShort term Disability
