Sr. Technical PM - IT

Position: Sr. Technical PM - ITLocation: Remote if they are perfect fit or HYBRID in DEDuration12+ months (potential extensions)Hours per week: 40Start Date: May 18thJob Description:Client needs a seasoned PM that has led complex IT projects from a technical standpoint to come in and help with implementing complex systems within a pharmaceutical setting. They have a lot of new Systems builds and new data in the pipeline. Job description/Scope of work:Project Leadership, Stakeholder/Vendor Management and Delivery Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements and within cross-functional teams through facilitation of project meetings, workshops, and reviews.Collaborate and align with internal and external stakeholders/vendor teams, while monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and executing on-time and within budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements and workflows specific to CDO and PPM processes. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. Ensure solutions align with pharmaceutical industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.Monitor and report project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans, providing timely updates to project teams and leadership.Manage financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking project costs and collaboration with finance teams.Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of novel solutions and processes.QualificationsMinimum Education: Master's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in project management in pharmaceutical R&D / IT-enabled environments.Technical Skills (MUST): Strong understanding and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Azur, Ariba, JIRANice to have: Veeva Implementations / Integrations PMP certification (Nice to have)
