Client Overview:Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world's largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Senior Sourcing / Procurement Specialist - Professional Services (Contract).Job Overview:Role: Senior Sourcing / Procurement Specialist - Professional Services (Contract)Type: 12-Month ContractSchedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Rate: $55/hour on W2 contractLocation: Alpharetta, GA or Irving, TX (Hybrid/Onsite)Additional Details:Candidates must be located within commuting distance of: Alpharetta, GA OR Irving, TX Hybrid or onsite presence may be requiredOpportunity for expanded responsibilities and extension based on performanceNeed to have hands on experience in all 4 areas RFP execution, supplier negotiations, professional services contracting, and enterprise procurement.About the Role:We're seeking an experienced Sourcing / Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, contracting, and category management activities for Professional Services (e.g., consulting, IT services, managed services).This role will initially focus on RFP execution, supplier negotiations, and contract support, with the opportunity to expand into broader category management responsibilities based on performance and business needs.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support RFP/RFQ activities (requirements, supplier coordination, evaluations, award documentation)Drive supplier negotiations including pricing, rate cards, and service agreementsPartner with Legal on contract drafting, review, amendments, and executionCollaborate with business stakeholders, Finance, and Procurement teamsConduct market and supplier analysis to inform sourcing strategiesManage supplier interactions and support issue resolutionEnsure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirementsProvide status updates, risk assessments, and recommendationsSupport and grow into category management activitiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field7-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contractingProven experience with:RFP executionSupplier negotiationsContract execution (SOWs, SLAs, pricing terms, etc.)Strong stakeholder management and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (procurement tools a plus)Strong negotiation and commercial acumenAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication skills (written & verbal)High attention to detail with a compliance mindsetAbility to work independently and cross-functionallyPreferred Qualifications:Experience sourcing Professional Services (consulting, IT, managed services).Exposure to category managementExperience in enterprise or regulated procurement environmentsCompany Overview:Amerit Consulting is an extremely fast-growing staffing and consulting firm.
