About the CompanyA leading regulated energy organization is seeking an experienced Manager, Project Controls to provide oversight and assurance for large, complex capital projects within a growing New Generation portfolio.About the RoleThis is a high-impact leadership role focused on cost and schedule predictability, risk management, and governance, working closely with Project and Construction Managers to ensure disciplined project execution across the lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on oversight and assurance for major capital projects to ensure cost, schedule, and risk certaintyLead and support stage-gate / governance reviews, including evaluation of business cases and control deliverablesServe as a subject-matter expert in project controls, risk management, change control, and contingency managementEstablish and continuously improve project management and controls standardsMentor and develop project controls professionals; deliver training in project controls disciplines (e.g., QRA)Influence outcomes without direct authority, partnering across project teams and senior stakeholdersQualifications10+ years of experience in capital project development and project controlsBackground supporting large, complex utility, energy, or oil & gas projectsStrong experience working with or alongside EPC / engineering organizationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (MBA a plus)Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levelsRequired SkillsExperience in capital project development and project controlsStrong background in utility, energy, or oil & gas projectsExperience with EPC / engineering organizationsDegree in Engineering or Construction ManagementWork on mission-critical infrastructure projects with material investment and visibility.
