Assembly Technician

JOB DESCRIPTIONA new AI robotics startup company based out of San Francisco is looking to hire multiple Assembly Technicians to help assemble hardware to develop robots and related components. Day to Day Activities • Mechanical assembly using basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, etc.) • Check your inventory to ensure you have the right materials on hand • Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners using hand, air, and power tools • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies • Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity • Performs step-by-step instructions for quality assurance • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations • Report on your output for the dayREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE• Mechanical assembly skills are required • Soldering experience • Hand tool experience required (screwdrivers, wrenches, cutters, etc.) • Attention to detail and focus on quality • Ability to effectively take direction and implement changes quickly • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
