Technical Account ManagerLocation: Can commute to Houston, TX office OR Columbia, MD office.Overview:A growing Managed Service Provider is seeking a Technical Account Manager to own client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for managed clients. This role focuses on strategic account management, client satisfaction, and long-term retention.You'll partner closely with engineering and project teams while helping clients align their technology with business goals through aconsultative approach.Day to Day:Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of MSP clientsLead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategic conversations focused on outcomes, and growth.Understand client goals, challenges, and pain points to guide technology strategyCollaborate with technical teams to deliver proactive recommendations and roadmapsAdvocate for clients internally and ensure clear communication on projects, priorities, and updatesUnderstanding and ability to explain technology solutions as it relates to Windows & Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune), Networking fundamentals (routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VPN, TCP/IP), Azure and/or AWS, Backup, disaster recovery, and security platformsPosition Requirements:3+ years in a client-facing role within an MSP or IT services environment REQUIRED Background in account management, customer success, or IT service deliveryStrong communication skills and executive presenceAbility to think strategically about technology without being hands-on technicalComfortable working cross-functionally with engineers and leadershipOrganized, proactive, and client-first in approachMSP tools experience (ConnectWise, CRM platforms, lifecycle or reporting tools) preferredTechnical background or strong understanding of technologies listed above.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary $85,000- $110,000PTO + Company Holidays100% covered health insurance, Vision, Dental + partial coverage for dependents401(k) with 3% automaticOngoing training and professional development supportAnnual Profit sharing
