Title: Construction Sr SuperintendentLocation: Charlotte, NCCompensationHighly Competitive Base + Bonus + Truck / Car AllowanceDescription:We're working with a high profile GC out of the Southeast that's looking to bring on a Senior Superintendent in Charlotte. This individual will be responsible for large scale projects in the $50M-$200M range. The position is open due to growth.This GC is as steady as it gets with a strong backlog of long term projects. Candidates need to have experience leading projects north of $50M in value. Excellent leadership, support, and a compensation package as good as anyone in the market for the right background.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily on-site construction operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherenceCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics to ensure efficient work sequencingEnforce jobsite safety policies and conduct daily safety meetings and inspectionsCollaborate closely with the project manager to maintain project timelines and budgetsReview drawings and specifications to anticipate potential conflicts and drive proactive solutionsConduct site walkthroughs, inspections, and ensure punch-list completionMaintain accurate daily logs, progress photos, and documentation using construction softwareServe as the on-site representative for the general contractor with owners and consultantsQualifications:10+ years of experience in commercial construction as a superintendentSuccessful track record managing ground-up or large-scale renovation projects over $50MDeep understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and scheduling practicesStrong ability to lead subcontractor teams, resolve issues on-site, and maintain project momentumFamiliarity with project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similarOSHA 30 certification required or obtainableExcellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to read and interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and specificationsIf interested please apply or send a resume to avanaelst@
