Construction Manager

Role OverviewWe're looking for a Construction Manager with strong hands-on experience in MEP systems, specifically plumbing and piping, on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for end-to-end site execution, coordination, and delivery of MEP works within timelines and budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage on-site execution of MEP (plumbing & piping) works for commercial projects (e.g., malls, hospitals, office buildings).Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs for plumbing and piping systems.Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and other stakeholders to avoid clashes and delays.Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules.Monitor installation of piping systems (water supply, drainage, fire fighting, etc.).Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.Track progress, prepare reports, and flag risks proactively.Manage material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory control.Handle client interactions and resolve technical/site issues.Required Skills & ExpertiseStrong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping layouts, and MEP coordination.Experience with healthcare or educational construction projects is mandatory.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD familiarity preferred).Solid understanding of installation standards, testing, and commissioning processes.Good project management and team leadership skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability under site conditions.
