SharePoint Intranet Designer

Position Title: SharePoint Intranet Designer Location: Houston Texas 77002 (Remote Work)Duration: 06 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC OR GC candidates/No C2COverview:Client is looking for an experienced SharePoint contractor to support the redesign and modernization of our internal business website. The focus of this role is improving how employees access information, navigate content and engage with internal resources. This role will partner with Internal Communications, IT, and business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Redesign and modernize a collection of existing SharePoint Online sitesAssess the current internal SharePoint site to identify improvement opportunitiesRecommend and implement improved information architecture and navigationConfigure SharePoint pages, web parts, templates, and brandingSupport content cleanup and migrationPartner with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into site designEnsure usability, accessibility, and scalability best practicesRequired Experience:Deep expertise in SharePoint Online and modern intranet designStrong background in internal/intranet site design and UXAbility to work independently and manage deliverables in a contractor rolePreferred Experience:Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystemStrong understanding of usability and employee experienceComfort working with limited direction and multiple stakeholdersExperience supporting internal communications or corporate intranetsAbout Matlen SilverExperience Matters.
