Field Service Technician (Fire Systems)

We are currently looking for Fire Systems Field Service Technician. The technician will be travelling domestically up to 50% of the time and up to 2 weeks at a time. The Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled service/installation of various pieces of fire protection equipment. The Field Service Technician must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.Location: Scotia NY 12302Compensation and BenefitsStarting at $28-$29 per hour!Health Vision and Dental after 30 days!120 hours of PTO/Sick Pay!10 Paid Holidays401(k)Employee Discount ProgramsAdvancement Opportunities with direct hire potential!Job Description:Responsibilities:• Install stainless steel high-pressure tubing and pipe fittings• Install flexible low-voltage conduit and perform wire terminations• Read and interpret schematics and technical documents• Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues• Perform preventive maintenance on fire suppression systems• Support system startup, commissioning, and decommissioning• Maintain OSHA and safety complianceQualifications:• High School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license1+ year experience in fire suppression, low voltage, industrial maintenance, or related field preferredAbility to read schematics and technical proceduresUnderstanding of low-voltage DC circuitsExperience with stainless tubing, pipe fitting, or mechanical assembly preferredStrong safety mindset and reliable work historyComfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
