Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a 03+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Duluth, GA(Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Monitor and assess critically ill patients, including vital signs, hemodynamics, and neurological status.Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage life-support equipment as needed.Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and ICU best practices.Consistent 12-hour night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per weekOpportunity to work in a mixed ICU/IMCU unit (10 ICU + 22 IMCU beds)Supportive, collaborative team environmentPrime Duluth, GA location with easy access to Atlanta amenitiesKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Active RN License (GA or Compact State)AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (required)CCRN certification (preferred)Minimum 2 years of recent experience within ICU or IMCU specialtyStrong critical thinking, assessment, and decision-making skills under pressureAbility to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), schedule variesNo local candidates within 50 milesExcellent cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skillsProficiency in ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and post-procedural careStrong communication and teamwork in high-stress environmentsProficient in EMR/EHR documentationCompassionate, patient-first mindsetOur client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
