Edison Smart are looking to hire an experienced Senior Building Automation Project Manager (BAS) to lead the delivery of complex automation and controls projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial facilities for a company located in Raleigh NC.. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who can manage projects from concept through commissioning while ensuring quality, budget, and timeline targets are met.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of Building Automation System (BAS) projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeoutManage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful deliveryCoordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teamsOversee system design reviews, submittals, and technical documentationEnsure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company proceduresProvide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and field teamsIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategiesSupport business development through client relationship management and proposal inputRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience in building automation systems (BAS), HVAC controls, or related fieldProven track record managing complex BAS projectsStrong knowledge of control systems (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus)Experience with major BAS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider Electric)Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in project management tools and software
