Job Description: Regional Purchasing Manager (Northern California)Location: Northern California (Hybrid - 2 days onsite / 3 remote) - Must report to one of our Norcal Offices 2 times per week.Position Type: Full-TimeReports To: President of the CompanyAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly driven Regional Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategies and execution across multiple branches in Northern California. This role is responsible for optimizing vendor partnerships, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring product availability aligns with operational and sales demand.This is a high-impact role for someone who understands how purchasing directly affects margin, service levels, and overall business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead regional purchasing strategy across multiple locations8 Inventory turnsMinimize transactions related to fulfillment while reducing costDeadstock under 3% of inventory dollars on handMaintain average current fill rate of 96% or higher for A, B, C, D & F items combinedManage vendor relationships, negotiations, and performance metricsDrive cost savings initiatives while maintaining product quality and availabilityAnalyze purchasing data, inventory levels, and demand trends to optimize buying decisionsPartner closely with Operations, Sales, and Inventory teams to align supply with business needsMonitor and manage inventory turns, stock levels, and excess/obsolete inventoryImplement and standardize purchasing processes and best practices across the regionSupport ERP system utilization (e.g., P21 or similar) for purchasing and reportingDevelop and track KPIs related to cost, service levels, and supplier performanceQualifications5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain leadershipExperience managing multi-site or regional purchasing operations preferredStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsAnalytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisionsExperience with ERP systems (Prophet 21/P21 preferred)Proven ability to drive cost savings and operational improvementsExcellent communication and cross-functional leadership skillsCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 base (DOE)Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision)401(k)Career growth within a rapidly growing organizationWhy Join UsHigh-visibility role with direct impact on company performanceCollaborative, fast-paced environmentOpportunity to shape purchasing strategy across a growing region
