Network Engineer II (VoIP / Telecom Migration) Location: Irving TX (Hybrid)Contract: 12 months + possible extensionNo C2C candidates, only W2Must be able to obtain a USPS Government Security ClearanceWe are actively hiring Network Engineers to support a large-scale USPS migration project within a major telecom environment. This is a high-impact role focused on VoIP services, number porting, and telecom migration activitiesOverviewYou will support activation, migration, and troubleshooting of VoIP services, working closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers. This role is execution-focused with high volume and fast turnaround expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform telephone number porting (LNP) and verify completionExecute VoIP service activations and migrationsManage routing updates in Broadsoft / Sonus environmentsPerform call testing, call tracing, and troubleshootingLead customer/vendor bridge calls during activationsValidate orders, perform pre-install testing, and resolve issuesDocument all activities in workflow systems and meet SLA timelinesRequired QualificationsStrong experience in VoIP / telecom (LNP, routing, call flows)Hands-on with: Broadsoft / Broadworks and Sonus (Ribbon) platformsAbility to perform call tracing and troubleshootingStrong Excel skills (data validation, comparison, macros)Excellent communication, ownership, and organizational skillsPreferred Certifications / BackgroundKnowledge of:Routers, switches, SBCsCisco, Audiocodes, Polycom devicesCertifications like CCNA / CCNPExperience with large-scale telecom migrationsWhat you didn't know about us:Competitive salaryHealth, Dental and Vision BenefitsLong-Term growth potential401kWith this position, you will get the opportunity to work with a game changing client and further advance your already valuable experience in the telecom industry!We are Connectors.
