This position is ideal for someone with experience in a kitchen & bath showroom, home improvement, construction, interior design, or other design-focused sales environment.In this role, you will work closely with homeowners, builders, contractors, and designers to guide customers through fireplace, outdoor living, and heating product selections while delivering an exceptional customer experience from consultation through project completion.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple projects, and passionate about both sales and customer service. This is an opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role within our showroom and operations over time.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEngage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate fireplace, heating, grilling, and outdoor living productsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and personalized serviceGuide customers through higher-end, detail-oriented purchases from initial consultation through final installationFollow up on leads, estimates, proposals, and active projects in a timely and professional mannerCoordinate with vendors, installers, service teams, builders, and designers to help ensure smooth project executionAssist with showroom organization, merchandising, and maintaining a welcoming customer environmentIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities that enhance customer projectsHelp oversee customer satisfaction and proactively resolve issues when they ariseLearn showroom operations and support ownership in managing day-to-day workflow and customer communicationWork collaboratively with ownership and team members to help grow sales and improve operational efficiencyPreferred QualificationsExperience in kitchen & bath, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, fireplace, construction, or related showroom sales preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and manage several customer projects simultaneouslyComfortable working with homeowners, builders, designers, and contractorsSales-driven mindset with strong customer service skillsExperience with estimating systems, CRM software, Trello, QuickBooks, or project management tools is a plusDesign experience or an eye for aesthetics/layout is highly valuedCompensation & Growth OpportunityThis position offers a significant base salary plus commission with growth potential for the right candidate.
