TITLE: QUALITY MANAGER LOCATION: Kent, WAEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct-hireBENEFITS: Bonus, Medical insurance, 401K, Vacation, Holiday Pay and more!PAY RANGE: $130,000 - 165,000Averro is hiring a Quality Engineering Manager to lead and continuously improve a robust Quality Management System for our local aerospace manufacturing client in the Greater Seattle Area! This role is ideal for someone who thrives in regulated industries, enjoys owning systems end-to-end, and wants a clear path toward senior leadership.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage Quality Engineering department and oversee entire QMS.Lead and develop quality personnel, including performance management and coaching.Serve as a key point of contact for quality-related issues across operations and leadership teams.Oversee quality processes, audits, certifications, and team performance while serving as a key liaison between operations, customers, and regulatory bodies.Own and maintain the company's QMS in alignment with AS9100, Nadcap, FAA Repair Station, and OEM requirements.Ensure all certifications, approvals, and registrations remain current and audit-ready.Oversee internal audit programs and establish annual audit schedulesCoordinate and host external audits (OEMs, regulatory agencies, third-party registrars).Lead continuous improvement initiatives across quality processes.Manage corrective action systems to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.Interface directly with customers to address quality concerns and ensure satisfaction.Support FAA Return-to-Service documentation (8130s).Assist with onboarding new programs, including review of specifications and process requirements.Drive ongoing improvements in QMS effectiveness and productivity.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree6+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing or aerospace environmentStrong experience managing or supporting Quality Management SystemsManagement and leadership experienceBackground in aerospace manufacturing or finishing processes is highly desirableStrong quality audit and inspection experienceLead Auditor certification preferredWorking knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards and Nadcap requirementsFAA regulations (Part 145 preferred)AA Repairman Certification (plus)WHY AVERRO?Averro is a Veteran-Owned organization dedicated to delivering innovative talent solutions, business consulting and technology services that propel businesses and careers forward.
