This role is ideal for a highly technical engineer with strong hands-on experience across the application, data, and front-end layers, capable of designing end-to-end solutions and contributing to modern cloud-native development.You will help build and deliver modern applications that support AI-enabled initiatives and the organization's transition to a cloud-first, product-based model. This is a high-impact role in a fast-moving, startup-like environment where strong technical execution directly shapes outcomes.A key focus of this role is leveraging modern AI development workflows, including AI code companions, agentic engineering tools, and accelerated development practices. The ideal candidate understands how to responsibly use AI-assisted development to improve delivery speed, code quality, and engineering efficiency while maintaining strong engineering discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesFull Stack DevelopmentDesign and develop cloud-native, full-stack applications in an AWS-first environmentContribute across:Application Layer: Python or .NET services, APIs, and microservicesData Layer: PostgreSQL or MySQL schema design, performance tuning, and integrationsFront End: React or Angular modern UI developmentSupport migration from legacy systems to scalable AWS architectures and cloud-native patternsHelp establish and follow engineering standards, best practices, and reusable frameworksAI-Accelerated Engineering & Agentic DevelopmentLeverage AI code companions and modern AI-assisted development workflows across day-to-day engineering workSupport agentic development environments using tools such as AWS Bedrock and other AI-enabled platformsUtilize coding assistants, workflow automation, and AI acceleration tools to improve delivery speed and developer productivityEnsure AI-assisted development maintains code quality, security, scalability, and architectural integrityContribute to best practices for integrating agentic workflows into engineering executionDelivery & CollaborationSupport the creation of cloud baselines, data foundations, and AI/agentic development environmentsContribute to AI-enabled initiatives such as chatbots, intelligent forms processing, and client onboarding optimizationCollaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and leadership in Agile delivery cycles (6-week increments)Provide technical input for architecture, tooling, and implementation decisionsHelp mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and ownershipRequired QualificationsStrong experience developing full-stack applications in AWS cloud environmentsHands-on expertise across multiple layers of the stack, including a strong mix of:Python or .NET (application/services)PostgreSQL or MySQL (data architecture)React or Angular (front-end development)Strong experience with cloud-native architectures (microservices, serverless, event-driven design)Experience using AI code companions (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Bedrock, or similar tools) to accelerate software deliveryPractical understanding of agentic workflows and AI-assisted engineering practicesExperience delivering solutions in Agile product environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to align technical solutions to business goalsPreferred QualificationsAWS certifications strongly preferred:Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)DevOps Engineer ProfessionalData SpecialtyMachine Learning Specialty (nice to have)Experience with AI/ML integrations or agentic AI platforms (e.g., AWS Bedrock)Familiarity with cloud security, identity management, and compliance considerationsExperience working in product-based delivery modelsExposure to establishing standards for AI-assisted development and automation workflows
