Our reputation is built on responsiveness, technical expertise, and getting systems running when others can't.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Control Systems Designer to support our growing project workload. This role will work directly with our lead designer to execute control panel designs, electrical schematics, and submittal packages for water and wastewater applications. We use SkyCAD for our design software, which is similar to Electrical AutoCAD. This role will be doing the CAD drafting and design.This is a hands-on, execution-focused role best suited for someone who can take direction, move quickly, and produce clean, accurate designs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical schematics and control panel layoutsAssist with PLC I/O design and system architectureProduce submittal packages and drawing sets for customer approvalSupport updates and revisions based on field or customer feedbackWork closely with internal team to translate project scope into designHelp standardize and improve design templates and workflows over timeRequired QualificationsExperience with electrical CAD software (SkyCAD; AutoCAD Electrical or similar acceptable)Working knowledge of industrial control systemsAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control narrativesStrong attention to detail and organizationAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environmentPreferred ExperienceExperience with water/wastewater systems (lift stations, treatment plants, wells, etc.)Familiarity with:PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)HMIs and SCADA systemsVFDs, instrumentation, and field devicesPrior experience designing control panels for industrial or municipal applicationsWork StructureHybrid/Remote; Texas-based candidates that can drive to office a few times a month requiredOccasional in-person meetingWhat Success Looks LikeProduces clean, accurate drawings with minimal reworkMoves quickly on smaller projects without heavy oversightCommunicates clearly and proactively with the teamHelps reduce bottlenecks in design and submittal turnaroundWhy This RoleFlexible, remote work with consistent project flowOpportunity to work on real infrastructure projects (not theoretical work)Direct exposure to field-driven design and practical engineeringPotential to grow into a larger role as the company scalesWork Location: Hybrid remote in Edna, TX 77957
