Job Title: Senior ATE Technician (Semiconductor Test / Production Support)Location Options:Palo Alto, CA (1 Opening)San Diego, CA (2 Openings)Employment Type: Contract (C2C)Shift: Rotational (Day / Evening / Night)About the RoleWe are hiring a Senior ATE Technician to support production test operations in a semiconductor environment. This is a hands-on, equipment-focused role involving ATE systems, load boards, handlers, and test floor activities.Note: This is NOT a test development or software engineering role.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform docking and undocking of ATE testers with handlersInstall and maintain Load Boards / Device Interface Boards (DIBs)Ensure proper pogo-pin alignment to avoid damageExecute kit changeovers (sockets, plungers, stiffeners)Conduct continuity and isolation checksPerform load board debug and validationSupport pin/socket repair and replacementRun tester calibration and diagnosticsExecute daily test runs as per engineer instructionsSupport production floor operations and equipment uptimeAssist with shipping/receiving of test equipmentRequired Qualifications5+ years experience as:ATE TechnicianTest Equipment TechnicianSemiconductor Test TechnicianHands-on experience with:ATE systems (Advantest, Teradyne, etc.)Load boards / DIBsHandlers / test cellsStrong skills in:Hardware troubleshootingCalibration & diagnosticsProduction test supportComfortable working rotational shifts (including nights)Preferred QualificationsSemiconductor / electronics manufacturing backgroundExperience supporting high-volume production test environmentsBasic understanding of test programs (execution level only) Important Note (Please Read Before Applying)This is a technician-level, hands-on role focused on equipment and production supportCandidates with experience mainly in:Test program developmentAutomation scripting (Python, C, etc.)Data analysis / yield engineering?? may NOT be a good fit.
