Project Description:Whether you possess a background in finance, technology, or Mathematics, your experience in commodities industry would be of high interest to us.The project is a Trading and Position platform Implementation for Commodity products.The team is responsible for the build of a trading application used for:Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management.Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting businessLeverage strategic standard risk systemsIntegration with Operations, FinanceReporting, ReconciliationAccountingLocation: Flexible / Hybrid - HoustonContract: Permanent or ContractIndustry: Energy Trading & Risk Management - Power and CertificatesThe Front Office Stream Lead will act as the primary interface between Trading, Risk, IT, and the Orchestrade implementation partner, ensuring the solution supports current and future Front Office operating needs.Responsibilities:Front Office DeliveryWork on Front Office Power topic for a trading implementation in-houseOwn Front Office scope, priorities, roadmap, and dependencies within the wider programEnsure Front Office requirements are accurately translated into configurations items and solutionsBusiness Requirements & DesignGather, challenge, and document Front Office business requirements across:Trading workflows and deal entryProduct modelling for Power and CertificatesRisk metrics, exposures and reportingTrade lifecycle events and position managementDrive Front Office solution design, ensuring alignment with best practices and Orchestrade capabilitiesValidate functional design documents and configuration choicesImplementation & Configuration OversightOversee configuration of Orchestrade Front Office components, including:Products, deals, pricing, and lifecycle eventsExposure, risk, and P&L viewsTrade booking and validation rulesProvide hands-on Front Office expertise to resolve design and implementation challengesEnsure consistency between Front Office, Risk, and downstream processesTesting & ReadinessLead Front Office testing activities, including:System Integration Testing (SIT)User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Define Front Office test scenarios and success criteriaSupport trader and Front Office user readiness for go liveStakeholder ManagementAct as the primary Front Office point of contact for:Traders and Front Office managementRisk and Middle Office teamsIT and data teamsOrchestrade vendor and implementation partnersProvide regular status updates, risk visibility, and decision support to program governanceMandatory Skills Description:Mandatory Skills Description - Front Office & ETRM SystemsStrong Front Office experience within Energy Trading & Risk Management on PowerProven experience implementing related to Power and Certificates on CommoditiesDeep understanding of Front Office trading processes and system usageExperience across Power, Certificates, including physical and financial contractsProduct & Market KnowledgeSolid understanding of:Physical and financial Power and Gas tradingBiomethane contracts and lifecycle considerationsEnvironmental products (e.g. Guarantees of Origin, Certificates)Understanding of Front Office risk metrics and exposure managementManagementStrong leadership of functional workstreams within large transformation programsAbility to bridge business and technology effectivelyExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStructured, delivery-focused mindset with attention to detailAbility to challenge requirements and drive pragmatic solutionsNice-to-Have Skills Description:Degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related disciplineETRM system certifications or energy trading qualifications are advantageous
