Job Title: Electronic Technician I - Electronic Product Fabrication and AssemblyContract Duration: 1 yearLocation: Boulder, CO/Westminster CO (On-site, 5 days/week)Target Pay Range: $25.20/hr, on W2Job SummaryThe Technician I will support electronic product fabrication and assembly activities in both production and development environments. This role involves building, reworking, testing, and troubleshooting non-flight hardware while following engineering drawings, build documents, and established manufacturing processes. The position requires strong hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based, on-site environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate and rework non-flight electronic hardware in production and development settingsAssemble cables, chassis, racks, and test aids using build documentation and assembly drawingsPerform cable assembly tasks including wire stripping, crimping, soldering, connector installation, sleeving, and groundingInterpret and follow electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wire listsIdentify and troubleshoot hardware issues related to design or workmanshipPerform continuity, certification, and functional testing on hardware and assembliesMeasure, record, and document test data; identify and report out-of-tolerance conditionsExecute assignments efficiently, balancing cost, schedule, manufacturability, and reusabilityMaintain a regular and predictable on-site work scheduleCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support a positive work environmentComply with safety, quality, and process requirementsPerform additional duties as assignedWork EnvironmentOn-site role requiring in-person work five days per weekWork performed in offices, laboratories, production floors, cleanrooms, or outdoor research environmentsMay require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Occasional travel between company campuses or external locationsExposure to varying weather conditions when accessing facilitiesRequired QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree may substitute for related experience (2 years per higher degree)Experience & SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experienceAbility to work confidently with hand toolsExperience reading and following complex schematics and assembly drawingsBasic computer skills, including data entry and data lookupStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and qualityAbility to work independently or as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime as required
