We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our Learning and Development Department as our Learning Content Specialist. As the Learning Content Specialist, you will be part of a team of diverse professionals dedicated to delivering world-class support to our internal customers. You will assist the Learning and Development Department in analyzing, developing, designing, implementing and evaluating learning content while also supporting the LMS functions of Main Menu, GameStop's intranet communications, tasking and learning platform. You may interact with your supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Location: Grapevine, TX Office (In-office, 5 days a week) What You'll Do: Assist supervisor with creating better & streamlined content to enable store associates to support Corporate, Warehouse and Field Associates in execution of tasks and sales driving activities. Provide general administrative support, including but not limited to, research relating to improving learning, preparing documents, presentations, business reports, and internal correspondence. Produce content including but not limited to eLearning, instructor-led training, microlearning, simulation training, and direct facilitation. Continuously look for opportunities to improve learning content to reduce time to completion, retention and reduce turnover. Research and develop selling support tools and eLearnings to support key product releases Receive, direct, and respond to communications throughout various levels in the organization; interact with internal customers, vendors, Corporate and Field Executives and Associates with a sense of urgency and professionalism Develop an understanding of our Main Menu intranet communications, tasking and learning platform to assist in creating, submitting, approving, uploading, and maintaining the content on Main Menu. Use knowledge of Main Menu functionality to assist and/or train others on the platform and ensure understanding of this communication tool. Develop new ways to utilize Main Menu to improve communications with the Store Support Center and Field Employees. Assist in collecting data, completing surveys, and creating reports related to improving the various aspects of Learning and Development including Main Menu Extract, aggregate and synthesize data from multiple sources Gather, organize, interpret, and report data used by other leaders to make sound business decisions Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other major business units throughout the GameStop organization Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization What You Will Need: High School diploma or equivalent required; Accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in organizational psychology, instructional design or other related field preferred At least 2 years of Retail experience required; store manager level experience preferred 2-3 years of experience in an instructional designer or similar role preferred Ability to travel occasionally (5-10%) to off-site meetings and conferences as needed Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to synthesize learning content effectively across all levels of the organization and with external contacts; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Proficient organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple, overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with technology tools such as Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficiency with instructional design tools such as Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline preferred Proficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; knowledge of learning management systems preferred Possess accurate typing and data entry skills Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Proficient ability to read/comprehend complex displayed and/or printed statistical data/information and reports Experience in working cross-functionally within a complex organizational structure Ability to work satisfactorily with no or minimal supervision Consistently demonstrate a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
