Job Title: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.Location: Atlanta,GAAbout the RoleIn addition, the individual in this role will be engaged in the creation and execution of quality assurance frameworks, tools and practices to optimize product deployments and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and management of automation frameworksMentor other software quality team members on tools, processes and QA methodologiesDrive the planning, coordination and details of multiple projects for the QA groupInvestigate and recommend automated test approaches for testing new and updated productsAbility to communicate clearly and present complex information to users by translating technical information for non-technical stakeholdersEnsure QA standards are followed and maintained by all QA team members by performing code reviews of automated test scriptsDemonstrate competence with testing tools, processes and standards and apply them effectively to projectsCreate and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure products meet the defined requirements for usability and performanceCreating test cases and test scripts based on the requirements and Acceptance criteriaDrive E2E testing by coordinating with business team, development team and cross QA teamsReview manual and automated test results to ensure functional and technical requirements have been tested, and defects are documentedQualificationsBachelor's degree in information technology or computer science (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)Minimum five to ten years of software quality assurance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the companyRequired Skills5+ years of software quality assurance automation experienceProficiency with QA automation tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, CucumberExperience with JMeter or equivalent performance testing toolsAbility to work on multiple projects at one time as they are in various stages of development and testingAble to create and maintain automated test scripts with limited supervision while meeting standardsAbility to assess the architecture of application landscape and drive the planning, coordination and details for an automation strategyProven business, infrastructure and support problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and results drivenAbility to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environmentPreferred SkillsExpert in writing test plans, test cases and providing status reports and summaries across multiple projectsExperience with multiple programming languages and software development technologies such as Python and JavaDevelop and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework for regression, smoke, and end-to-end (E2E) scenariosIntegrate automated test execution with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage source code with BitbucketExperience with AI tools on QA activities from both manual and Automation testingTrack test progress, defects, and coverage using qTest and JiraExperience with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum and sprint planning meetingsProficiency in performing cross OS/browser and multi-device testingProficiency with API testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman and automation of APIsProficiency with database testing using MYSQL and PostgresProficiency creating and maintaining automated testing artifactsExperience with Databricks and Data pipelines is plusKnowledge on ecommerce, salesforce is plusExperience with testing loyalty or rewards programs (points, tiers, promotions) is a plusConsistency exhibits a thorough understanding of customer requirements and offer suggestions to improve user experienceAbility to quickly grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks
