System Integration Test Engineer

As a System Integration Test Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and executing test plans for our innovative RF/microwave and antenna module development for SatCom user terminals. Your responsibilities will include test planning, system integration, product validation, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SatCom, experience in executing test cases, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Main ResponsibilitiesTranslate product requirements and key features into test plans and detailed test procedures.Set up test equipment and execute test cases across various phases, including system integration, OTA validation, and engineering field testing.Integrate and test the complete satellite user terminal, including active phased array antennas.Interface with customers during Engineering Field Testing (EFT), developing test plans, running test cases, preparing reports, and coordinating feedback.Support Limited Availability (LA) and General Availability (GA) product phases, ensuring seamless transitions and issue resolution.Write automated scripts for system and component testing (while scripting experience is a plus, it is not a deal-breaker for this role).Troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Manage test case tracking and validation against requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and external development partners.Assist with product deployment and certification efforts.Travel to customer and EFT sites as needed (up to 15% travel based on project needs).Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree and five (5+) years of experience, or Master's Degree and three (3+) years of experienceTest plan development based on product requirementsExperienced in testing satcom products specifically user terminal componentsStrong troubleshooting and triaging skills in a fast-paced environmentAbility to effectively collaborate with others to resolve complex problems, work with cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts and move projects forwardNetwork troubleshooting skills; DHCP, TCP/IPv4 & v6, Sub-netting, routing, VLANs, etc.Experience with test management tools and Microsoft OfficeTravel up to 15% domestic or overseas (as needed)Preferred Skills & Experience1+ years of experience with Linux platformsExperience with RF testing and usage of RF equipment like spectrum analyzer, signal generator etc.1+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, Shell)Experience with SharePoint, Confluence and JiraPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs (e.g., equipment, prototypes, documents).Ability to move within an office, lab, or manufacturing environment as needed.About Intellian TechnologiesIntellian is the world's leading provider of satellite antennas and terminals, with a mission to empower connectivity so connectivity can empower the world.
