Candidates must have relevant experience aligned with this job description to be considered.We are seeking a Maintenance Manager for a growing manufacturing operation in the Brookville, Indiana area. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for both hands-on technical problem-solving and the continuous improvement of maintenance systems, equipment reliability, and team performance.This position will play a key role in plant leadership, with significant investment planned in equipment and operational improvements over the coming years. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader who can troubleshoot complex equipment issues while also building and improving systems, processes, and people within the maintenance function.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the maintenance team in a manufacturing environmentRespond to and troubleshoot equipment downtime, ensuring minimal disruption to productionDrive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and overall plant efficiencyOversee and improve preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and operating costsExecute and support equipment upgrades, capital projects, and process improvementsManage spare parts inventory and coordinate with purchasing to ensure availability of critical componentsTrain and mentor maintenance technicians on best practices, troubleshooting, and process disciplinePartner with production and plant leadership to improve safety, quality, and productivityEstablish and track key maintenance KPIs and performance metricsFoster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team cultureQualifications8-25+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environmentStrong hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or instrumentation systemsProven ability to troubleshoot and improve industrial equipmentLeadership or supervisory experience within maintenance or operationsEngineering degree preferred but not requiredStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsWhat We're Looking ForWe are especially interested in candidates who are:Technically strong but also eager to continue learning and growingHands-on and willing to be actively involved on the plant floorCapable of improving both equipment and maintenance systemsStrong leaders who can develop people and build a high-performing teamDriven, hardworking, and motivated to take on a demanding but rewarding roleThis is a challenging leadership position with strong long-term growth potential and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on plant performance and future expansion.If you're interested in learning more, please apply!
