This role plays a critical part in budgeting, pricing, and resource planning to support project profitability and overall success across manufacturing and construction initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for manufacturing and construction projectsReview engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to define scope and resource needsUtilize estimating and design tools such as RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft ExcelResearch and evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs while monitoring market trendsIdentify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value-engineering optionsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support planning and executionParticipate in project reviews, vendor evaluations, and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred7+ years of experience in project estimation, cost engineering, or related rolesProficiency with RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office toolsStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferredASPE or DBIA certification is a plusAdditional DetailsUp to 25% travel requiredEmployment contingent upon background check
